  • You must have already received a Bachelor's degree from an Accredited school to join us in our graduate programs at TMU, and you must have already received a Master's degree from an Accredited school to join us in our post-graduate (doctoral) programs at TMU. Your graduation date must appear on your transcript when sent to us. NOT SURE IF YOUR SCHOOL IS ACCREDITED? SEARCH HERE.

  • ARE YOU AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT? You can initially send us copies of your transcripts to graduatestudies@masters.edu for evaluation by our Registrar. If our Registrar cannot confirm accreditation of your school(s), you can have them evaluated by one of these two organizations: WES or ECE. If evaluation confirms that your school(s) is accredited, then please send us official transcripts from your school as indicated in the instructions above. You cannot be admitted to our school until we receive the official transcripts.

We can obtain your TMS transcripts for you, so please don't ask TMS to give us your TMS transcripts. However, to obtain any transcripts from other institutions you attended outside of TMS, you can contact TMS by email at registrar@tms.edu to have them send our departments copies of these. We request that you ask for all existing transcripts that they have on file for you. If possible, please let them know which particular schools you attended (e.g. Arizona State University; Moody Bible Institute, Liberty University, etc.). Finally, in your email, please request that TMS send the transcripts to graduatestudies@masters.edu. Or, if they need a mailing box, have them send them to Box #50Thank you!

If you attended TMU at any point for college studies or beyond, then you can disregard the instructions below (you don't need to send us any other college transcripts, because we should have those on file). However, please provide the info regarding your TMU studies with us in the questions below, but you do not need to contact us for the transcripts; we should already have them.

WRITING SAMPLE
Please submit 450-550 word essay based on one of the following topics: 1) What challenges do you face in resuming or starting your college education? 2) Please describe your conversion experience. 3) What are your personal goals over the next five years? Writing samples will be evaluated on the basis of organization, mechanics, grammar, and style. Please proofread compositions carefully. Special attention should be given to essay organization, paragraph development, sentence structure, punctuation, and spelling. Please do not use cliches or slang.
Please submit a 5-10 page research paper that was completed in your undergraduate program?

Please submit a 10-15 page research paper from your bachelor degree program demonstrating persuasive argumentation, good research, and careful citation. If you are unable to locate such a paper, you are welcome to find the closest equivalent. If you cannot find any paper from your bachelor degree program, you are welcome to submit one of the following...

  • ​A sermon manuscript
  • An in-depth Bible study on a passage of Scripture or a biblical topic
  • A well-constructed written assignment from a job you worked in the past

If you do not have any of the above, you are welcome to write a 5-10 page paper on any subject of your choosing, biblical or non-biblical, as long as it contains a little research and citation. Please submit a 10-15 page paper from your master degree program in theological studies that shows biblical argumentation, thorough research, and extensive citation.
