STEADFAST 2025 NEW STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP

APPLICATION FOR STEADFAST SCHOLARSHIP

In 2020, we celebrated Dr. John P. Stead’s 50 years of teaching and leadership. Dr. John Stead first joined the faculty of Los Angeles Baptist College in 1970 and has blessed students and employees alike with his godly wisdom, enthusiasm in the classroom, and humble kindness.

As part of our celebration, we have opened five (5) new 2025 John P. Stead Steadfast Scholarships, a full-tuition scholarship for new students. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements, and the TMU Scholarship Committee will select finalists. Applicants for this scholarship who do not receive this scholarship are still eligible for TMU financial aid. Room, board, student fees, or other costs are separate and estimated at approximately $17,140/year.

Eligibility:

• For all new undergraduate on-campus freshmen and transfer students.

• Student must be a first-time applicant admitted for Fall 2025.

• Must complete the 2025 John P. Stead Steadfast Scholarship application.

• Must complete the FAFSA before January 1st, 2025.

• Standard financial aid eligibility applies for awarding and renewal.
